A brief description of the collections, and their locations, in the CCSF Library Archives Room 335, Rosenberg Library.

Vertical Files

Vertical files containing a variety of topics, issues or organizations. Descriptive PDF lists of content for the General, Red and Yellow files are linked below.

The vertical file cabinet is divided as follows, left to right:

Red Vertical Files -- CCSF  Campus. The Red files are rich in information about the Reservoir, the Balboa and Sunnyside neighborhoods, and about initiatives or propositions related to City College and appearing on the San Francisco ballot.

Yellow Vertical Files -- CCSF Library. The Yellow files are rich with program and service details as well as information on the construction of the Rosenberg library.  See also, boxes of materials on the library held on the East wall, and blue prints held in the flat files on the North wall.

Public Information Office Files:  See description under Public Information Office. There is currently no finding aid for these files.

General Vertical Files: Vertical files on a wide variety of organizations, topics and issues related to the growth, operations and culture of City College. Content varies

 

The Vertical file cabinet is situated near the North wall of Rosenberg 335.
