The library has many class items on "Course Reserve" for a short checkout period (in support of homework completion). They are available on a first come, first served basis. Use the OneSearch "Course Reserves" tab to see if the library has your textbook.
We have books at your level!
Our Mission, Downtown, and Chinatown/North Beach libraries have books shelved by ESL levels.
We also have eBooks which can be read on any device with a web browser. Here is a list of some of our noncredit eBooks
Graphic novels--illustrated fiction and nonfiction books--are also found in the library for all levels of ESL, and also online in our online collections.
Language dictionaries--picture dictionaries and traditional dictionaries in over 12 languages--are in print or eBook versions at all locations where ESL classes are offered!
