Kryssi Staikidis, Professor of Art + Design Education at Northern Illinois University

Dr. Staikidis is an artist and art educator whose focus is decolonizing ethnographic research. In this talk Dr. Staikidis will share her experience of a nonhierarchical mentorship between two female artist-teachers from different cultures. She is currently co-editor for the anthology Transforming Our Practices: Indigenous Art, Pedagogies, and Philosophies (2017).
