The San Francisco Junior College (SFJC) was organized and governed by the San Francisco School District (SFUSD) from 1936 to 1970, the name City College of San Francisco was adopted in 1948. Some publications from the period 1936-1970 are reflected in the Archives collection, located in the cabinets along the East Wall of Rosenberg 335.
Various scrapbooks, as early as 1936, reflecting student activities and clubs. Most are in very bad condition and limited use is advised. There is also a scrapbook for an association of Florests in San Francisco.

Archives contains NO academic or employment records or information on students. Individual students may appear in archival material only by association with the cultural output of college and student activities. When seeking such information about students please search the Guardsman and other student publications, search the People files, and search Departmental files for incidental mention.
Archives does contain some top level statistical data for the years 1935 to the early 2000s. This includes data produced on contact hours, and date obtained through student information questionaires (SIQ) generated in the 1990s. Tese are shelved in binders or boxes along the North wall in Rosenberg 335.
Various literary and alternate newspapers, published by CCSF students, from the 1930s to the present; titles include Up and Coming, Etc. and Forum, among others.
