CCSF is a member of LINK+, a regional interlibrary loan (ILL) system among selected libraries in California and Nevada.  Using LINK+ the CCSF community can borrow books from other member libraries and have them delivered to any CCSF Library.

How it Works

  • Use LINK+ to search for items not owned by CCSF.
  • After searching CCSF, repeat your search in LINK+.
  • Choose the item you were looking for and click Request.
  • Choose CCSF from the institutions list.
  • Type your name and library barcode number at the prompts and click Submit.
  • The book will be sent from the owning library if it's listed in LINK+ as "available."

Additional Information About LINK+

  • LINK+ won’t work with community cards, cards with fines over $5, or items available at CCSF.
  • Items usually arrive within 5 days and are held for pick-up for 10 days.
  • The loan period is 21 days with one renewal for an additional 21 days.
  • Return LINK+ items to any CCSF library.
  • There is no charge to request or borrow LINK+ materials.
  • Overdue items incur a late fee of $1 a day per item and replacement fines are $115.
  • The Library will have no flexibility in waiving fines for LINK+ items.
