  • Need books for assignments? Use OneSearch from CCSF Library website to locate "online only" for online resources, or use the Contact-Free Pickup Service to order print books.

Access to library databases of articles, eBooks, streaming video are also available at OneSearch. Use your ram ID to log in from off campus.

Contact-Free Pickup

Students can place requests and schedule appointments to pick up library materials using the contact-free pickup service at the Rosenberg Library on Ocean Campus and John Adams Center. The location of your requested item is also where you will pick the item up.

Books, course reserves, Bookloan Program textbooks, laptops, Chromebooks, wifi hotspots, calculators, and physics kits can all be requested. The process may take about a week.

Watch this video about making a request for Contact-free Pickup

  1. Use the 'Books & Media' tab for OneSearch from the Library website to find and request library materials, including course reserves. To quickly access technology available to borrow, start with the technology page, request the technology you want, and continue with the steps below. Make sure you are requesting materials from the library you want! Items from one library cannot be sent to another. For example, a book requested from John Adams must be picked up at John Adams.
  2. Wait for a confirmation email in your CCSF email account saying that your materials are ready to pick up. It can take about a week.
  3. Follow the instructions in the email to schedule a pickup appointment.
  4. Follow the instructions in your appointment confirmation email.
  5. Chat with a librarian if you need help!

Returning Library Materials

  • Return library Rosenberg books and course reserves to the bookdrop at Rosenberg Library on Ocean campus.
    • Bookdrop is on the outside of the building and is open 24 hours per day.  See this video about how to return items to the Rosenberg Library for details.
    • If you can't come to a campus or center,  mail materials to: City College of San Francisco | Ocean Campus | Rosenberg Library | 50 Frida Kahlo Way | San Francisco, CA 94112.
  • Books checked out from a center must be returned to that center.
  • Careful - if you got a book from the Bookstore, please return it there.
  • Return laptops, Chromebooks and Physics kits to the Bookstore at Ocean Campus during open hours. See details at CCSF Bookstore
  • If the Chromebook was checked out at a center, return the item to the center by handing it to a library employee during contact-free pickup hours or return to the Bookstore at Ocean Campus.
