Chinatown/North Beach Center Library Classroom Information

Room 301 Reservation Policies and Guidelines

Room 301 is primarily for the instructional needs of the Library & Learning Resources (LLR) Department.  Non-library faculty and staff who schedule this instructional lab need to abide by the library’s room reservation policy below prior to using the room. Room 301 is located on the 3rd floor in the Chinatown/Beach Center Library, accessible through the 2nd floor stairway next to Room 201 or staff elevator. Use the CNB Library key card from the circulation desk to access the room. For more information including hours and location, visit Chinatown/North Beach Center Library.

  • Reservation requests can be made using the library’s online reservation system and using your @ccsf.edu email address.
  • Reservations are available during the CNB Center Library's open hours.
  • CCSF faculty and staff may reserve the instruction lab up to two weeks in advance, with a maximum of two times per month.
  • The instruction lab is not meant to take the place of an assigned classroom.
  • When scheduling in the final time slot your session must end 10 minutes before the library closes to ensure staff have enough time to close the library.
  • Food is not allowed; covered drinks are permitted.
  • The Library does not provide any technical support for non-library use of the instruction rooms. For problems with computers/equipment in the classroom you will need to contact CCSF Information Technology Services:
  • It is the responsibility of the person reserving the room to make sure to return all chairs to its original arrangement, turn off room lights, close and lock the door when finished with the room, and return the key card to the Circulation Desk.
  • The person reserving the room is responsible for canceling the reservation if unable to use the room on the scheduled date/time so that others may reserve the space.
  • The Library reserves the right to cancel a reservation in order to maximize use of the facilities and will notify the person responsible if cancellation is necessary.
  • Email Librarian Yi Liang yliang@ccsf.edu or Library Technician II Gwendolyn Inman ginman@ccsf.edu for questions about reservations and the use of space.
  • All events held in Library facilities are subject to approval by the Library Dean.
