Welcome to City College of San Francisco Library. This is a shared community space. It is up to everyone to make sure that it is welcoming to all, safe, and clean. It is important to behave in a way that supports learning, is respectful of others, and follows the CCSF Student Code of Conduct.
Library Guidelines:
- Behave in a manner that is respectful of those around you.
- Set phones to silent and take calls outside of quiet zones.
- We kindly ask that no food is brought into the library to help keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone. Covered beverages are allowed in the Library. Thank you for understanding!
- Leave study spaces clean and clutter-free for the next person. There are recycling bins throughout the library.
- Handle library materials with care so they remain in good condition for everyone to use.
- Please be mindful of your personal belongings, as theft can sometimes occur in the Library.
- Service animals are welcome in all College facilities.
- Scooters and bicycles need to be parked in designated areas outside the building and cannot be brought into the Library.
- Items left at the library are held at the Circulation Desk. Some larger or valuable items may be taken to the Campus Police Office, which is the official location for lost and found property.
- We are a smoke-free college. Smoking, including vaping, is not allowed anywhere in the Library.
- Soliciting is not allowed in the Library.
- Wear headphones when listening to audio, videos, or music and listen at a volume that does not disturb others.
