CCSF Library is a great place to work. We have dynamic staff and faculty who work collaboratively to provide excellent service and instruction to the CCSF community.
Types of positions:
- Classified positions - classified positions are hired through the City of San Francisco Civil Service office. To qualify to apply for a classified position - take the appropriate civil service exam. We pull candidates directly from hiring lists.
- Faculty positions - librarians at CCSF are faculty positions. We typically post faculty positions in January and February for full-time positions that begin during the upcoming academic year.
- Part-time faculty librarians - CCSF employs a team of part-time faculty librarians. Contact the faculty department chair for to find out about the next hiring process.
- Administrative positions - the Dean of Libraries is the only library administrator. That position is posted on the College Jobs site when available.
